WHAT TO KNOW
SCHEDULING
Online bookings require a credit card number and are accepted a minimum of 48 hours in advance. You may text 203-292-0460 to inquire about shorter-term availability. As a small business, we cannot afford cancellations on the day prior to your appointment and so require 48 hour advance notice for any changes or will charge a 50% late cancel fee. No-shows will be billed the full service amount.
PAYMENT
Payment is accepted at the time of service and is made directly to the practitioner. Cash, check, and Venmo are the accepted forms of payment at this time. No practitioner currently accepts credit cards. Credit card numbers are taken at time of scheduling only for use in the event of a late cancellation or no show.
OUR LoCATION
Gravity is located on Fairfield Avenue near the corner of Fox Street. We are pleased to occupy a storefront in historic Quarterboard Row in the Black Rock Business District.
PARKING TIPS
Due to traffic patterns and speeding on Fairfield Avenue, it is safest to park behind the building or nearby on Fox Street.
When parking behind the building, please enter the lot behind Timothy’s Ice Cream on Bennett Street and disregard the “Tenants Only” sign. Once parked, look for the blue Gravity Bodywork hanging sign just past the end of the parking lot through the chain-link gate.
ARRIVAL
PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE EARLY It’s best for you to wait in the car and approach the door at the exact time of your appointment. We do not have a waiting area and need every minute between sessions to clean and prepare the space for you. If the door is locked (as it often is), please knock or text your therapist to announce your arrival.
HEALTH STANDARDS
Gravity is committed to fully meeting or exceeding state and federal Covid Guidelines.
We have installed a hospital-grade air filter on our HVAC system. Mask requirements may change according to local positivity rates but we are happy to accommodate a request to mask. All practitioners are vaccinated.
If you are symptomatic, we will not be able to treat you, and you can can cancel or postpone your appointment without penalty.
